Definition
A soft, steady light, without flame or flickering — like the light of a sunset, embers, or a lamp seen through fog.
Unlike a flash or a flicker, a glow is calm and continuous. It can describe light (the glow of a sunset) or, figuratively, a feeling of warmth or health (“a healthy glow”).
